Walking around this '53 one should notice the two-toned Seafoam Green with offset dark green metallic paint that screams the 50's era. Adding to the curb appeal are chrome bumpers, chrome grille, frenched in headlights, chrome emblems, chrome handles, chrome mirror, chrome trim, side skirts, dual exhaust with chrome tips, and paint to match steel wheels with chrome hubcaps wrapped in whitewall Firestone Bias ply tires. The interior shows well and keeps the green two-toned theme that is expressed in the exterior. Additionally, cloth with vinyl seats, matching door panels, painted dash, seat belts, AM/FM radio, carpeting, etc finish the cabin. This post WWII Ford is powered by a 239 CID Flathead V8 engine that is mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The engine bay is organized and features a 12-volt battery system, painted orange engine block, Ford letting on the hoses, Ford Special decals on the air cleaner, and gives off a rumble that can only be accomplished by a Flathead V8. The owner states that the car was restored before their acquisition of it and it has won awards on local shows. Awards are also available upon request to be sent with the vehicle after purchase.
