This is my 2013 SLS GT. The GT cars are upgraded in numerous ways, one of which being the more powerful version of the M159 V8. The normal SLS makes about 560hp whereas the GT gets 591. It also gets a blacked out look in the trim department, and more sporty suspension. Most normal SLS owners will upgrade to the GT transmission tune because it is not only faster but less clunky around town. I believe they only imported about 200 of the GT cars to the US making the GT a far more rare (and expensive) beast. Ive had a blast owning this thing, and anyone looking for a supercar would be remiss to not consider one of these. One of the most beautiful cars ever made in my opinion. Given that this is a 20k ish mile car, there are a couple of rock chips but not big enough to make me take it in for paint, but because it has been driven, it is far healthier than a sub 10k mile car that has been sitting for 10 years. This is a rare opportunity to find a car you can actually drive and have fun in which is also very near collector quality and factory fresh. Fresh service, brand new PS4S tires all around (under 50mi) every option you can get other than carbon brakes (which is a good thing) no accidents, perfect condition, insanely fast, insanely pretty. Exterior Bathed in Dark Lapis Blue Metallic, straight heavy steel is used to fabricate this Sport Light convertible. A few inclusions and rust bubbles are seen in the blue finish with the worst of the damage being down low on the body, below the chrome body side trim. New dark blue canvas provides the topper, and a clear rear plastic window is within the top. Also, an optional body matching fiberglass hardtop is along with this consignment which the consignor will provide at the time of the sale. A Pagoda Style car due to its roofline, all chrome and trimming exterior wise are looking great! The rear taillights are ribbed for self cleaning, did you know? The standard Mercedes wheels to 14-inch alloy wheels are on all 4 corners and wrapped in deeply treaded 205/70R14 radials, adding a touch of class to this already classy 2 seater. Interior Gray leather and MB Tex make up the front bucket chairs and these are looking slightly used and with all good and appropriately aged surfaces. In the center is a burl covered console which has the shift lever, power mirror, and power window switches. Moving upward in the center we note climate control buttons and a factory Becker Grand Prix AM/FM/Cassette player within more wood burl. The dash is beige molded vinyl with a black padded topper and all original in configuration with the deeply inset round gauges covered under a black arched eyebrow. Throughout the cabin is gray carpeting that presents in good condition but with some slight soiling, and we note a like new gray leather bench seat in the back that is best suited for your bring alongs or very small children. Rounding out our tour are gray vinyl door panels that are slightly wrinkled but present cleanly with padded armrests and ample sized map pockets. Drivetrain Under the hood plenty of patina is showing on the original 3.8 liter SOHC V8 complete with Bosch Jetronic EFI. Our consignor notes that a recent tune up was performed along with a new fuel accumulator being installed. A 4-speed automatic transmission is on back as well as a 3.27 rear axle. Undercarriage No invasive rust, nice aging, and a little road dirt shows underneath. Independent suspension all around, as are power disc brakes on all 4 corners. We see new calipers, pads, hoses, and new front wheel bearings. Stock style dual exhaust with a single muffler is on for the exhale.
