In 1934, Ford Australia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Australia 's designer Lew Bandt modified a coupe: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coupe with a smoothly integrated loadbed that could be used like a car to drive to church or to deliver pigs to market. The Ranchero was the first postwar American vehicle of its type adapted from a popular sedan from the factory. It combined the sleek looks of a sedan with the utility of a light-duty pickup truck. With the Torino ending production after 1976, the 1977 Ranchero was restyled in line with the Ford LTD II: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_LTD_II mid-sized car line which replaced the Torino using the same platform. The same three models available since 1968 were still offered and the Ranchero could be ordered in quite luxurious form. Production ceased in 1979. Although the LTD II-based Ranchero was not produced for many model years, this body style with stacked rectangular headlamps is one of the most popular among collectors. The Ranchero GT presented at auction features the following: Seller reports this Ranchero to be in very good condition. The engine compartment is very original with all factory components present. The motor is reported to run good and the seller indicates that the brakes are in need of attention. The interior also presents as original and in very good condition. Just in is this neat all steel body 1929 Ford Model A Tudor Sedan Coupe with tilt windshield. This one is in ready to enjoy shape and is a real neat part of automotive history! We estimate this one was nut & bolt restored approx 30 years ago & still shows fairly decent! It is a good 10 footer driver quality 93 year old car & not a concoarse cream puff! From 28-29 Ford offered Tudor Sedan in this body style with flip out windshield. 20 million Model A's were built by Ford. This Tudor is one of the most desirable of the Model A Fords. Paint shines but aged its presentable buy has several chips, scuffs & cracks. Interior is all there & has some stains. Seats sit good & feel nice. All steel & sports a neat color combo with green and black & yellow accent stripes, yellow wheels and nice looking set of 6tires 2 are side mount spare and cover, This old gal is fitted with most all the accessories, rear-luggage & storage box, cowl running lights, chrome e-brake & pedals, wiper, wind wings, dual spares, lot guage, fuel guage, radiator temp guage, curtains, up-grade bumpers, tail light, brake lights, spartan AHHH UU GHAA horn, chrome stone grill guard & more! We just did a service that includes new 6 volt battery, fuel system flush, new spark plugs & carb re-fresh! This A Model runs out and drives out very well for what it is. The Ford 40hp 3.3L 201 ci 4cyl is still breathing and 3 speed manual shifts out good! Decent looking quite tidy interior with headliner & cloth seats with rear curtains! Original looking engine bay. Good looking undercarrage. This is a small show or cruise in worthy driver and should please the next owner for this deal...we feel it is a quite decent old machine! Miles listed @ 75xxx are what are showing on its 5 diget odometer & most likely not actual. Car will be sold miles exempt not actual. Georgia is a non-title state on one of this vintage from 1961 & back. It does however have a clean clear lien free current Georgia registration. Vin# on side of block is hard to read & does have matching vin# plate as shown & matches Georgia registration. Many states recognize Georgias title & registration laws. Please check with your DMV before you purchase because that & bill of sale is all the ownership paper we are providing to new owner.
