Its spartan character makes it a real driver's car. Consequently, there were not many options. With the MK2, you had to be happy with a quick-action folding roof. With the 100/4, you still had to use a folding tent yourself.Between 1959 and 1967, Austin made 36,816 Healeys, divided into three 'Marks'. The Mark I's body was made by Jensen Motors and assembly by BMC. Of the Mark III, 17,712 eventually rolled off the assembly line. Unfortunately, thanks to the birth of another British icon, production ceased in 1968.
