This Corvette looks like a true exotic with its full widebody kit that includes the low chin spoiler, big fenders, Z06-style vents, and an awesomely integrated rear spoiler. Plus, the front looks extra aggressive with the C5R-style headlights and a Vader-style vented hood. So this car has some pretty awesome distinction, but it was already born to stand out. The trim codes tell us this was born a true 50th-anniversary convertible, and that means it earns its special shade of Anniversary Red Metallic. In fact, despite being a distinctly modified drop-top, it still is also quite practical for a road trip and includes a large trunk. So this one combines both legends together with an upgrade to a Dart LSX 427 block. So the four-speed automatic transmission still provides easy overdrive cruising, and the power steering still makes commuting a breeze. But the moment you hit the backroads, the V8\'s upgrades work with the Magnetic Ride Control (remember, Ferrari uses this, too), four-wheel disc brakes, and wide ZR-rated tires to create the ultimate sports car experience. This Corvette takes a rare and desirable special edition and upgrades it to be meaner in both looks and power.
