Just as with the SC, Porsche produced the Carrera 3.2 in three body styles: coupe, cabriolet, and targa. The model proved a resounding success, with buyers and critics lauding the car for its brisk performance and exceptional road feel. Minor updates to the interior improved comfort, though dealers happily escorted those more interested in long-distance comfort to the more expensive 928. Today, enthusiasts recognize the Carrera 3.2 as an exceptional variation of the traditional 911 theme. The body style is sleek, screaming aerodynamically sound to everyone who sees it. Of course, it retains the classic 911 driving dynamics, with exceptional steering feel, remarkable brakes, and brisk acceleration. There is no feeling comparable to handling the air-cooled 911 at speed you simply must experience it yourself!
