Built by Dixie Dream Rods in 2006. It is a stunning car. It retains it\'s classic features from the greyhound ornament to the rumble seat but is modernized with everything from a/c to fuel injection. EXTERIOR: This is a gorgeous car. I love that they retained it\'s original full fendered, unchopped body with suicide doors and louvered hood. It is all original Henry Ford steel that was professionally restored and made straight as a laser. No rust or damage. It fits real nice, the doors shut like a new car. Painted a gorgeous PPG Indigo Blue and clear coated. It is polished like glass. I also love that it still has the beautiful chrome grill, bumpers, door handles, horns and hood ornament. It has it\'s original style full size Ford script headlights and taillights with blue dots. A 3rd brake light is flush mounted. Original style ribbed rubber running boards. All smoked glass and a chrome windshield frame. The stance is perfect thanks to the staggered size tires. It rolls on a set of chrome wire wheels with V-8 center caps and BFG tires. INTERIOR: My God this is 100% genuine glove soft leather, even the headliner! I\'m 6 foot and have plenty of room. Very comfortable sport seats. Custom door panels with map pockets. In front of me are polished billet panels with VDO white face gauges. Nice billet a/c vents and heater control panel. Classy looking Ford steering wheel on a polished tilt column. Locar pedals and e-brake handle. That\'s a 5-speed shifter on the floor! It has a painless wiring system. Cashmere Porsche carpet on floor. The windows are power. It has a Custom Audio stereo system with hidden speakers and a CD changer. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The Ram Jet 350 crate motor received a makeover from Street & Performance. They also fully dressed it in polished billet. The front of the motor is all polished components and a serpentine belt system. It also has electronic ignition and Sanderson headers. It runs cool with dual electric pusher fans and a puller fan, an aluminum radiator and polished overflow bottle. The engine bay is painted gloss blue. TRUNK COMPARTMENT:It has a fun rumble seat aka mother in law seat. It is also fully upholstered in genuine soft leather. Porsche carpet with a stitched 34 floor mat. The hinges are chrome. UNDERSIDE: The original 1934 Ford frame was boxed, smoothed and painted. It has a TCI suspension. Upfront is independent with chrome tubular control arms, drop spindles and swaybar. It has adjustable coilover gas shocks and rack & pinion steering. In back is a 4 link setup with tubular control arms and panhard bar, coilover gas adjustable shocks. It has a 4 wheel disc brake system with e-brake. The dual exhaust has stainless magniflower mufflers with big flared chrome tips here\'s a custom polished stainless fuel tank Looking up at the motor it is clean, it has a high torque starter. They gave it a new Tremec 5-speed transmission. New drive shaft. In back is a Ford 8 inch rear with highway friendly gears. SERVICE: We inspected the car and resecured the rumble seat cushion and flushed the power steering. We tightened the steering column, door handle and hood ornament. This car is first class! I wouldn\'t change a single thing. It\'s gorgeous, luxurious and has performance. The next owner will be very happy with their purchase. This build starts with some nice fundamental appeal. This is mainly a steel coupe with a metal body, doors, and trunk lid. There\'s even an original 34\' grille. Fiberglass is used to unite the more curvy elements and incorporate modern additions in places like the fenders, running boards, and tail pan. This build was completed around 2004. That doesn\'t feel too long ago to some of us, and it certainly looks that way when you see the condition of the paint. You can tell they took their time applying the bright red. And so this has a glossy finish that highlights the iconic lines. The coupe forgoes some chrome in the usual places with deleted bumpers and color-matching the grille. We think it makes for a cleaner appearance where you can really see the painted yellow flames along the profile which gives it a street machine level of style. More of this can be seen in the details like the large dual exhaust tips, classic Weld racing wheels, and meatier rear tires that have a terrific stance. Good glass, clear lights, and nice seals make for good fundamentals. It all makes for the kind of coupe that has been given upgrades so that you can enjoy the drive and capture everyone\'s attention/admiration at the stoplights. We love the look of suicide doors, and these are your gateway to a custom/comfy interior. The gray setup has its fundamentals like carpeting, dash, upholstery, and door panels looking clean. Plus, this really offers a proper driving experience with the well-bolstered bucket seats, a custom sports steering wheel on the tilt column, a B&M shifter, and an upgraded gauge package with speedo and tach. And while this is a true driver, you\'ll also appreciate comfort features like power windows, tinted glass, an AM/FM stereo, and cold-blowing R134a air conditioning. The piano-style hinge on the hood means it\'s easy to show off the full engine bay, and you can even remove the side if you want. That\'s because we know you\'re going to love showcasing this everywhere you park thanks to the high polish presentation. Even the firewall is a smooth mirror-like piece to really double the shine! Within the style is also plenty of substance. This is a 400 cubic-inch V8. It\'s upgraded with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock dual plane intake, and full-length Jet coated headers feeding the 3-inch-inch dual exhaust pipes and Flowmaster mufflers. There are also good supporting components like an MSD distributor, an aluminum radiator, and Perma-Cool dual electric fans. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit, and it feeds a narrowed Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.55 gears. As you look underneath, you can see a desirable setup with a Mustang II-style front end, a four-link rear with Aldan adjustable coilovers, and four-wheel disc brakes for a confident feeling on the road.
