A truck dressed in black instantly conveys a premium and powerful attitude. The color-matched grille, dark headlight bezels, shaved trim, and deleted bumpers keep the sleek midnight feeling going. It\'s all part of a later upgrade creating a cool-looking custom, and today the total package strikes the right balance of a good gloss but nothing too fancy that will keep you from driving this truck. While the darkness is awesome, it also serves to help bring greater attention to the brighter pieces. It focuses your eye on upgrades like the babymoon wheels and bright dual exhaust tips that signal performance upgrades beneath the skin. But as custom, as this one looks, don\'t forget the fundamentals. The panels are straight, doors open and close with confidence, and the lumber on the bed floor looks show-worthy. The exterior black returns inside, and now it\'s joined by a tasteful gray. And everything from the smooth ash to the clean glass makes this feel inviting. It inhales deeply with a Rochester four-barrel carburetor, and the dual exhaust makes sure this exhales with a subtlety sweet tune. The V8 is supported by quality components like an aluminum radiator, HEI ignition, a serpentine belt setup, and newer hoses. This all makes for the kind of pickup you\'ll want to drive, and the upgraded 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive lets you enjoy it near or fan in comfort. Plus, the undercarriage reveals a true treat. The front suspension is now a later model Chevy independent front end with disc brakes. The rear is now a Jaguar-style setup with inboard brakes.
