Rancho mirage - CaliforniaInterior Color: Oxblood Exterior Color: Black Description: 1954 Chevrolet 210 2 Door Sedan The Chevrolet Two-Ten, or 210, was the midrange model of the Chevrolet car from 1953 to 1957.  It took its name by shortening the production series number, (2100), by one digit in order to capitalize on the 1950\'s trend toward numerical auto names.  The numerical designation \'210\' was also sporadically used in company literature.  It replaced the Styleline DeLuxe model available in previous years.  The Two-Ten was discontinued after the 1957 model year to be replaced by the Biscayne. The Two-Ten shared the wedge-shaped side trim with the Bel Air, but unlike the Bel Air, (which had the wedge filled with an aluminum trim panel), the Two-Ten\'s wedge was painted either body color, or top color with the optional two-tone paint package.  Chevrolet in script was mounted inside the wedge. If you are thinking about owning a classic Chevrolet from the mid 1950\'s, you know something you can hop into and go for a cruise down to your local McDonald\'s, (it started in 1954), or just wasting gas cruising listening to Bill Haley and The Comets, or maybe showing off your girl\'s new poodle skirt, all in near showroom style, then this 210 will grab you and never let go. Immaculately kept, it is hard to see any fault on this 2-owner patina survivor. Exterior Tuxedo Black covers the straight steel slabs of this nicely designed piece of Detroit iron.  The paint shows slight cracking at one seam, but overall is in very good condition with no visible rusting on any of the straight panels.  From its shaved off non existent hood ornament, to the headlight bezels, bumpers, mirrors and handles, all of the chrome on this car is very nice and shiny.  Looking at the profile we see a front to rear trim spear that slices right through the mid-section of this car. A bullet-like bulging rear quarter has a large trim piece curving with its profile on the bottom.  Also, breaking up the black are chromed and rounded over rocker trim pieces. Car manufacturers of this era quickly realized that chrome sells, and this car has an abundance of it including around all of the windows and completely wrapping the car at the beltline.  Bringing up the rear is a large bumper with guards in the center, stretched vertical oval tail/backup lights and Chevrolet badging and script in your grandmother\'s handwriting. 15-inch polished American Racing Torque thrust wheels are wrapped with 205/65-R15\'s in front and larger 215/70-R15\'s in back form the 17th week of 2000 Interior A swing of the doors, and we see all new door panels in Oxblood tuck and roll leather with black painted steel uppers and black carpeted lowers. Power windows have been installed, and shiny actuators and a small wing window window cranks remain. Moving inside we see 2 large benches, one split in front and another in the rear stretching from C pillar to C pillar.  These are covered in Oxblood leather and have some nice mild folds in them due to some light wear. There is also a small tear on the driver\'s seat at the entry corner.  The rear seat is also excellent and has wide tuck and roll inserts and smooth bolsters and appears as nearly unused.  Upfront, a new dash emulating the old design, but with all updated round white faced with black lettered AutoMeter gauges are peppering the shiny polished chromed ribbed dash front panel.  Also, below the dash are more round gauges along with the controls for the installed Vintage Air and heat.  In front of the passenger is the original vertical ribbed radio speaker covering and Chevrolet badge in more grandmother\'s handwriting. A long Lokar shifter reaches for the driver who sits behind a shiny black like new bakelite steering wheel and horn ring. An AM/FM radio is now in the glove box, black carpeting is on the floors and above is a like new headliner.  A shout out to the trunk which has been completely re-lined with black carpeting. Drivetrain Under the hood in a restored engine bay, now resides a 350ci cr
