Â Stinger hood, check! Â Side pipes, Check! Â Convertible, Check!Â Let\'s tear up some pavement! Exterior Ermine White, which has been nicely applied, shows well on this shark shaped and hidden headlight machine but is not without a few flaws in the form of orange peel and dryÂ paint application down low on the body. Â Showing off with a red Stinger big block hood scoop, shark-like gills as side intakes on the front quarter panel, and showroom split chrome bumpers it does not get any better. Â A factory optioned side piped car, these just add lots-o- gleam to the rockers. The shark nosed and pointy rear are classic in this Zora Arkus-Duntov-influenced car.Â Ultra clean wheels with deep dish trim rings are wrapped by thin red line Firestone bias ply tires all around. The a like new black canvas convertible top, (with the original 367 date stamp), was rarely used, and remains in excellent condition.Â A thin pointed rear deck and roll pan has round tail lighting and more split chromed bumpers.Â 1967 really was a very good year for the Corvette. Interior With top down, (as it should be), pristine red low back bomber styled tuck and rolled buckets sit in front of a red dual padded top eyebrow cowling dash. Â This dash, which includes perfect condition embedded gauges in a black dash front on the driver\'s side, and a curved brushed aluminum arched paneledÂ glove box on the passenger is looking factory fresh. Â The many round instruments and the other knobs and pulls flank a center vertical pillar that houses a large clock, airflow knobs, and a vertically mounted AM/FM radio. Â Moving downward and between the seats, the console houses a factory chromed knob topped shift stalk and ball, and handbrake lever.Â Fronting the dash is the original steering wheel that is covered in lacquered teak, and sports 3 brushed steel spokes which have elongated cutouts and a dual flag badged horn hub. Â The door panels are near perfection, are covered in more red vinyl which is like new, as are the chromed handles, actuators and cranks.Â Some chrome thin trimming areÂ on for more accenting.Â Near perfect red thick pile carpeting covers the floors, and a nice storage area behind the buckets.Â Just pure perfection on a meticulous restoration for this 1967 warship. Drivetrain A flip of the forward hinged hood, and we can see a fully restored red/orange GM painted block and valve coverings of the 427ci beast. The block is a re-stamp, but is a correct 1967 block, (casting number 3904351). Â Some chromed accents are here and under the air cleaner is a correct 4-barrel carburetor.Â On the back is a Muncie M21 4 speed manual transmission that is number matching. Â The rear axle weighs in at 3.36 gear ratio with Positraction.Â All is very well in this nicely painted black engine bay with no corrosion or rust on any parts anywhere under the hood.Â Â Undercarriage An extremely clean, even sporting a shine in most areas, undercarriage is seen all underneath this car. Â All looks new with disc brakes all around, and independent suspension. Â The rockers and floor pans are very solid and barely even have road dirt on them. Drive-Ability This car fired right up but we were very careful not to put too much clocking on it due to its very good condition.
