Engine: 400-370 HP Transmission: Manual Interior Color: Black Exterior Color: Expresso Brown Description: The top dog Pontiac of the muscle car era is the Ram Air IV. This is 1 of the original 759 built, even less were 4-speeds. This one really meant business, it was special ordered with a 4.33 Saf-T-Track rear! Very well documented with Pontiac Historical docs, original window sticker, original owner\'s manual and pouch, picture of the original owner with the car and a bill of sale from 1970. Total body off frame restoration done to factory specs completed in 2021. It\'s the ultimate sleeper with no frills. The unassuming appearance with it\'s colors and poverty wheels I\'m sure surprised more than a few people at the stoplight back in the day! EXTERIOR: The fit and finish is better than it was when it was new. Every square inch is absolutely laser beam straight. There\'s no rust, damage or bodywork showing. The front rubber bumper is in fantastic shape, no damage and it fits precisely. Repainted it\'s original Expresso brown, the metal flake is laid out evenly. The clear coat is polished like glass. The vinyl top was replaced. All the stainless trim is straight and polished. Correct chrome antenna looks new, rechromed rear bumper. Grills and taillights look new. Front and back windows are new. All new weather strips and window seals. Correct T3 headlamps. It\'s sitting on a set of restored 14 inch wheels and poverty hubcaps with reproduction Wide Oval red line tires, they still have the nubs on the tread. INTERIOR: Like brand new from carpet to headliner. Down on the floor is the correct Hurst 4-speed shifter. The seats have been recushioned and upholstered, it has a fold down armrest. In front in front of me the dash pad and deluxe wheel are new, it has factory gauges and tachometer, all the knobs and heater controls look mint, it still has it\'s original radio. New door panels, armrests, window cranks. Overhead the visors and headliner were replaced, the dome light works. ENGINE COMPARTMENT: It is restored to factory specs. Like most, it has an SR service replacement block. The heads, intake and exhaust manifolds are correct Ram Air IV. The ram air is functional and complete down to the heat shield and tube. The components look like new. The metal surfaces are painted smoothly. TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It looks brand new! Under the trunk lid and the jamb have a glass finish. Inside is pristine metal with neatly applied spatter finish. The weather strip, trunk mat and decal were replaced. It has a restored wheel with a matching reproduction tire and a complete restored jack assembly. UNDERSIDE: It was body off frame restored and flipped on a rotisserie. The metal under this car looks pristine. It\'s all smooth, clean rust free painted a semi-gloss black. The entire chassis is also rebuilt and detailed. It has the rally suspension which includes boxed rear control arms and swaybars front and back. All the suspension and steering front and back is replaced. It even has correct spiral shocks. Correct reproduction dual exhaust system with staggered size mufflers. The brake system was completely restored: new lines, e-brake cables, hoses etc. The fuel system was replaced including the tank and lines. Looking up at the motor it\'s spotless, the starter looks brand new. It has a correct M21 Muncie 4-speed dated to this car. The Saf-T-Track rear end was originally a 4.33, now has a 4.10 to make it a little more streetable. SERVICE: We inspected the car and repaired a leaky drain plug, replaced both head gaskets, repaired interior lights, replaced spark plugs, adjusted the choke, replaced the thermostat, repaired glovebox light, cigarette lighter and horns This is the epitome of the muscle car era. It was purposely ordered as a stripped down, no frills muscle car to tear up the streets. Not many cars like this survived, today it\'s extremely sought after and ultra rare. ALL RISE! HERE COMES THE JUDGE! Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to present a true legend: A 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge- in Liberty Blue on black. An authentic Judge complete with PHS docs, Protecto-Plate, warranty book, two original Bill Of Sales, and receipts. Pontiac's 1969 GTO Judge- a name derived from a skit on Rowan & Martin's Laugh In TV show "Here comes the Judge", was planned to be a direct competitor to budget muscle cars, but with the already well-quipped base GTO commanding a higher price than Plymouth's Road Runner and others, The Judge option added additional cost. The package consisted of the base 366 horse Ram Air III or optional (grossly under rated) 370 horse Ram Air IV engine, functional cold air induction, rear air foil, tri-color side stripes, blacked out grills, The Judge glove box emblem (phased in after early production cars), and wheels devoid of trim rings. Hide-a-way headlights and hood tacks along with other equipment were optional on the GTO or The Judge. This investment-grade 3 owner Judge was built the first week of June, 1969 (06A) and has received an exhaustive restoration. It is presented as it left the factory with the exception of the white vinyl top. Liberty Blue Judges are coveted- and look outstanding from every angle. Like many muscle cars, the original engine "left the building" if you will early in it's life. (We are told the original owner enjoyed it so much he actually went through 3 warranty engines until GM cut him off!) The current owner sourced a date-code correct 9790071 400 block (WS, D 28 9), and mated it to the original "48" heads (C 31 9), intake (C 18 9), correct Ram Air exhaust manifolds and Rochester Quadrajet. This is a relatively low option car- just as was the concept for The Judge. The options that WERE ordered were all the right ones including AM Radio, gauge package with tach, special order axle (3:90-1), Close-Ratio Muncie M21 4-speed, Safety-T-Track limited slip axle and heavy duty radiator. The 3:90-1 gear was swapped for a 3:55, for more reasonable highway revs. Outside and in, this car does not disappoint and is a close to a new 1969 Judge you will see for the money. This car looks fierce just sitting there as if it were staged on a dragstrip on the cover of HOT ROD Magazine. There's nothing like sitting in and driving one of these American Legends and the view from inside looking over the hood is exhilarating. It's like going back in time- a look, a smell and sound no modern car can even come close to.
