Of course, what really is likely first catching your eye is how this one stands above the rest...literally. The Hurst/Olds received a special paint theme just for 1984. We love the layout that is truly worthy of a power Olds. After all, the sliver with a black lower section is a sophisticated two-tone that has a hint of premium style. But it all turns to aggression as the red stripes help to highlight some nice curves on the otherwise well-creased design. Plus, the hood scoop trim and full-width rear spoiler are part of a muscle car tradition. It\'s quite a memorable color and body package, and so we\'re quite happy to see what shows all the right signs of being the original application. You will see some use from nearly 40 years, but overall, you\'ll be impressed with the way it shines with distinction. And speaking of distinction, the 24-inch wheels certainly raise this car\'s stature. We like the uniqueness the wheels have to give it the modern Donk style. They even did it with enough care to add Hurst center caps. But you\'ll also see the updates are not altering the fundamentals. So there\'s also appeal here for those who want to return this to stock and show off a numbers-matching and factory paint example from the final year of the Hurst/Olds. Inside, the Hurst/Olds received bucket seats and a proper console, something few other Oldsmobiles of the era can claim. There\'s an impressive overall preservation here everywhere from the trim in the seatbacks to the working lights in the c-pillar. So while it\'s unknown if the odometer represents the full mileage, this one absolutely has the look of proper respect. At the center of it all is the special three-lever Hurst Lightning Rod shifter setup that gives full manual control of the automatic transmission underneath. It\'s this special structure that also makes the factory upgrade to a full round gauge pack so helpful. After all, the tach will be extra useful in this Hurst/Olds. As a true premium coupe, it came loaded with a power driver\'s seat, power windows, power locks, electric rear defrost, cruise control, and a tilt steering column. The cold-blowing air conditioning is a terrific feature, especially when you want to go driving with the T-tops out. There are some nice additions like keyless entry and an upgraded steering wheel that coordinates with the exterior alloys. And to make sure you can cruise with the best music, there\'s an upgraded stereo in the glovebox. Oldsmobile utilized their rugged and torque-filled 307 cubic inch V8 for Hurst duty. This numbers-matching unit is nicely done with a four-barrel carburetor on top and Flowmaster mufflers on the split exhaust. You saw the triple-stalk Hurst shifter in the interior, and on the road, it allows you to get the most out of the motor. Plus, on days when you want to take it easy, just simply let the four-speed automatic with overdrive shift itself. In fact, this one has other great features for all-around good driving such as power steering, power brakes with discs up front, and sway bars front & rear. This Hurst/Olds is well-preserved and distinctly upgraded. It means you\'re looking at everything from a terrific stock T-top coupe or quite a unique Donk cruiser. And no matter how you choose to enjoy it, there\'s an irresistible understanding of having only one of 3,500 examples from the last Hurst/Olds ever. Call today!!!
