Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1988 Porsche 928 S4! By the late 70s the fuel crisis...
Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to present this stunning 1987 Porsche 928 in silver on blue. In the late 70's, Porsche set out to replace the long established 911. They decided to stray away from tradition, and create a front-engine, v8, 4 seater sports car known as the 928. While the 928 did not end up replacing the 911, the car stands its own, and is one of the most charismatic and unique Porsches out there. The 928 remained in production from 1977 to 1995, and it kept it's general exterior shape the whole way through.Aside from power and looks, the 928 is famous for its cool quirks. Sun visors exclusively for the rear seats, oddly located buttons, like the hatch release button mounted to the floor, and of course... the iconic three-piece rear windows. Clearly a more radical design when compared to the Porsche 924, even though they share a very similar body. This '87 features a silver exterior, which suits the retro-futuristic styling of the 928. In the right light it appears to have a very light purple hue. And the rear spoiler is icing on the cake. An absolutely beautiful sports car inside and out. The interior is dark blue and super clean. Under the hood sits a 5 liter V8. This Porsche is sleek, quick, and will turn heads any where you take her.
