A full steel brush guard, mounted 9500 lbs. winch, a lifted stance, and thick tow hooks front & rear make this look as unstoppable as the US Army. And we love the beefy black details with the bumpers, grille, and wheels. But there\'s a little bit more going on here. The matte tan paint has the right desert camo look, but it\'s the kind of fresher and even application that can show off the crisp and clean body lines. And the low odometer is believed to reflect the full actual mileage. So while this is a true veteran, this one looks far nicer than one that just came off decades in the service. The black and tan color combo continues inside. What makes this updated Chevy so appealing is that where CUCV was pure function, this one is all about fresher investments that add comfort without losing the ruggedness. You get high-back bucket seats in front, a comfortable rear bench, a smooth dash, tinted windows, auxiliary readouts, and liner paint on the floor. The hardtop is still removable for an open-air experience, and the additions of Vintage Air air conditioning make this quite comfortable even when you\'re open to the world. Under the hood is the right kind of military force. This 6.2-liter diesel engine is a hardy powerhouse that even saw duty in the HMMWV/Hummer. In fact, it\'s a true military-grade setup with dual batteries. Plus, there is an addition of a turbocharger for added usability. The full package looks good from a solid investment, and that makes for a confident runner. And that\'s exactly what you want in a go-anywhere 4x4. The big torque of the diesel lets you climb mountains, and there\'s a nice set of Toyo Open Country tires to dig deep into the trail. Plus, with a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, and front discs, it\'s easier than you may think to enjoy a true piece of rugged military hardware. This Chevy is a true military machine, but it has been given big investments to make sure it has the right skills to also impress in its civilian life.
