Interior Color: Slate Gray Exterior Color: Grigio Titanio Description: 2000 Ferrari 360 Spider The Ferrari 360, (Type F131), is a two-seater, mid-engine, rear wheel drive sports car manufactured by Italian automotive manufacturer Ferrari from 1999 to 2005.  It succeeded the Ferrari F355 and was replaced by the Ferrari F430 in 2004. The first model to be produced was the 360 Modena, followed later by the 360 Spider and a special edition, the Challenge Stradale. The Challenge Stradale was the high-performance road-legal version of the 360 produced by the factory, featuring carbon ceramic brakes, (from the Enzo), track-tuned suspension, aerodynamic gains, weight reduction, power improvements and revised gearbox software among its track-focused brief. There were 8,800 Modenas and 7,565 Spiders produced worldwide. There were 4,199 built for the US market-1,810 Modenas and 2,389 Spiders. Of those numbers, there were only 469 Modenas and 670 Spiders that were produced with a gated 6-speed manual transmission as opposed to the F1 single-clutch automated manual transmission. The 360 Spider, which debuted for the first time in 2000 at the Geneva Motor Show, built on a high performance and high-tech space frame and the added luxury of an automatic soft-top with new actuators. For consignment, a 1st year Pinninfarina penned Euro-spec version optioned with the F1 clutchless paddle shift automatic, well maintained and kept up with on oil changes, this sleek skate right out of Maranello is ready to take you and yours out on the town, or whoop up the domestic muscle running around Anytown, USA. Proudly gracing our main showroom, and waiting to have its legs stretched once again, we give you the 2000 Ferrari 360 Spider. Exterior Grigio Titanio, titanium gray for those not in the know, drapes the beautifully designed exterior aerodynamic panels of this exotic car. From its slippery exposed headlight front, back to its windswept windscreen to the engine venting on the rear quarters to the iconic round taillights that just say Ferrari, this car presents beautifully. The black canvas convertible top is in minty condition and raises and lowers with little effort thanks to new actuators from Algar Ferrari. Yellow prancing horses, the icon of the Italian Escuderia hand built supercar, adorns the car. Also noted are the twin bumped up tonneau which in fact does more than simply accentuate the beautifully penned lines of the body, they are integral to the chassis and serve as roll bars.  The stylists at Pininfarina thoughtfully incorporated a glass viewing panel on the redesigned rear deck.  So now, horsepower voyeurs can keep on looking.  On the corners are yellow prancing horse logoed 5-spoke wheels in 18 format that are wrapped in ZR rated blackball radial rubber. Interior A mixture of fine hand stitched leathers, and awesome technology make up the cockpit  where we see electronic controls for windows, top, mirrors, temperature, door locks, and exterior lighting. Twin paddles just behind the 3 spoke rally steering wheels on the column sit within ergonomic reach of the pilot and make for very fast up and downshifts. An AM/FM/CD player and various gauges to keep track of the essentials are laid out in front of the driver.  2 Gray Connelly leather covered buckets grab driver and passenger, and keep them safe at high speeds, while all the while minding comfort.  Black carpet, like new, covers the floors. Drivetrain A mid engined 3.6 Liter DOHC fuel injected V8 is midway mounted into the car for weight balance, and attach a F1 6-speed clutchless semi-automatic paddle shifted transmission, and you are ready to make some noise, that is found recognizably melodious to only those who are a Ferrari aficionado. Turning the rear tires is a 4.44 geared axle and Bosch EFI feeds the mill and does a fine job of it. Penned by Pininfarina, the 360 has a beautiful shape that shows evidence of past Ferrari sports cars in the design. A low, sleek front end, louvers in the side of the car to feed air to the engine bay, louvers at the rear of the car, and four tail lights are all familiar design elements. The absence of pop-up headlights is different, and as many of you know, something that Ferrari began including in vehicle design in the early 2000\'s. The car you see here is a 2003 Ferrari 360 Spider finished in Nero over Nero leather interior, and showing just shy of 6,800 miles on the odometer. Take a closer look at this beautiful Italian sports car and its features. Finished in black, this 360 Spider is slightly understated compared to a red or yellow Ferrari, but the beautiful lines of the 360 cannot be missed regardless of the color. This car features a new convertible top, 18 alloy five spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin tires, and a transparent engine cover. Inside the car, Ferrari\'s racing heritage is evident featuring paddle shifters, supportive Daytona leather seats, aluminum pedals and foot rest for the passenger, and a three-spoke steering wheel. The interior is in very nice condition for a Ferrari of this vintage. The usual sticky buttons, warped leather on the dashboard, and scratched center console are non issues on this car. The leather seats and dash trim are supple and show very little wear. Under the bonnet is a small trunk area that includes the tool kit, can of tire patch, and leather binders which contain the cars manuals. Beneath the engine cover is the 3.6L V8 that is mated to Ferrari\'s 6-speed F1 transmission. Just shy of 400 horsepower is on tap from the V8 engine, with an 8700 rpm redline. The engine bay is tidy, with painted surfaces in great condition. Red intake manifolds, connecting pipes, and silver painted air boxes are hard to miss in the symmetrical engine bay. A stainless steel muffler sits at the back of the car. This gorgeous 360 Spider is a low mileage well maintained example, which should have you feeling pretty good if it ends up sitting in your garage. It may even be worthwhile to learn some Italian words if you don\'t know any other than what you see on the menu at an Italian restaurant. The Italian word bellissimo describes this car well, so keep that word in your memory bank, and the phrase sorry officer is scusa officiale.
