Plus, the black soft top with darkly tinted windows also coordinates nicely when it\'s in place. Driving lights up front, full doors on the side, and a full-size spare on the rear are all part of the right factory options you want. And just to be even more useful, there are also LED headlights, LED rear lights, and front bar mounts with a plug if you want to tow this behind your RV. The result is an attractive stock-style modern classic Wrangler that also knows how to remain useful. While early Jeeps give you a minimalist setup, this modern one is comfortable enough to drive every day. You get a ton of terrific features, like dual airbags, a cup holder center console, full doors with roll-down windows, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. This even has cold-blowing factory air conditioning to make it quite comfortable even when you\'re driving with no roof or doors in the summer. The driver\'s seat is a command position with a high-back cloth bucket seat, a tilt steering column, and a shifter that\'s right where you want your right hand to rest. The 4.0-liter inline-six was a mainstay for many years because its reputation for durability is what kept the Wranglers on top. While this has had a long life at Jeep, getting it in a TJ series means a modern fuel-injected powerplant. So it starts easily and idles well. Plus, it makes the kind of torque that doesn\'t ever complain about slogging through the rough stuff in 4x4 low range. But despite this go-anywhere nature, this Jeep has the solid driving feeling of leading a nice life thus far. It also has the right features for it to continue being a great driving friend for near or far. That\'s why you have the five-speed manual transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a nice set of BF Goodrich All-Terrain K02 tires. Complete with the owner\'s manual packet, this is an actual-miles Wrangler that doesn\'t appear to have any major body, suspension, or motor modifications. That\'s quite a rare find, and something quite desirable as these are both useful-injected SUVs and also beginning to be appreciated for their classic status. This custom 1981 Jeep CJ5 is powered by a factory 4.2-liter inline 6-cylinder engine and paired with the original 4-speed manual transmission with a newly installed clutch. It has undergone a frame-off restoration where the body has been reworked and the frame was wire-wheel-sanded and freshly painted. The body was sand-blasted and repainted a bright Army Green color and was finished with several coats of clear. All suspension was redone, and a 3-inch suspension lift was added to accommodate the brand-new 15-inch Fuel wheels and the new 35-inch BFG K2 mud-terrain tires. The entire tub was Rhino-lined and received new seats. The dash was repainted to match the body and received new factory gauges. The clutch was newly installed at the time of restoration approximately 5 years ago and has very little miles since redone.
