Texas - FredericksburgEngine: 201 CI 4 Cylinder Transmission: Manual Interior Color: Black Exterior Color: Gloss Black Description: This 1931 Ford Model A pickup plays a cool game of What if... After all, we know how cool the Harley-Davidson package was on the more modern F-150. But this fresh build imagines what it would look like had the two teamed up decades earlier at the dawn of the motoring era. This one really holds quite true to an idea about being something different without straying too far from period-correct. The result is something quite thoughtful. One of the best ways to see this is in the color theme. The base for the Harley-Davidson style is easy with a glossy black. But this one makes sure it looks extra attractive with professional application and a build that has less than 1k miles on it. The silver is integrated by using it to accent the Model A\'s natural body lines, and while the wire wheels often came in different colors, you can instantly tell these are in H-D orange. They didn\'t chop the top or add fat tires because that would be more of the post-war kind of customizing. Instead, this build puts the fresh motor on display to add extra flair (more on that in a moment.) And it\'s under this kind of theme that you also still have all the best vintage details, like a vinyl roof cover, windshield overhang, and terrific-looking lumber in the truck bed. There\'s plenty more Harley-Davidson inside. The door panels and headliner are embossed with the H-D logo. And the seats look terrific with bold orange inserts and the full color logo stitched into the seatbacks. We have a receipt documenting $3k spent just for this custom interior style. This has nice features like plush carpeting and Ultraleather upholstery. But just like the exterior, they didn\'t go overboard with upgrades so that it keeps a period-correct feeling. That\'s why you have the four-spoke steering wheel, tall shifter, and bright vintage dash panel. All Model As, even the trucks, got the same four-cylinder engine, but there is a reason why this one is always on display. It looks terrific with the cool finned aluminum head that makes this look like the air-cooled H-D motorcycle powerhouses. And within this bright and clean style are well-integrated power upgrades like a touring cam, a Weber dual-barrel carb, and Reds header. There are also the right upgrades for a better driver like an alternator and an electric fuel pump. This now also has a four-speed manual transmission with synchronized gears for easy cruising. These may be upgrades for a more useful pickup, but overall, it never loses that classic Model A feeling. And as you look underneath, the silver paint on the chassis and suspension is a particularly nice touch that ties in more of the color theme and also reminds you how fresh this build is. This is a highly documented professional restoration. In fact, we have a large receipt file showing about $70k invested in this unique restoration. So if you love classic Harleys and/or pure classic Americana, you know this What if... is absolutely awesome. Call today!!!

Sandy - OregonEngine: 201 CI 4 Cylinder Transmission: Manual Interior Color: Tan Exterior Color: Washington Blue Description: This 1931 Ford Model A has a lot going for it. This is a rare slant windshield model, and there\'s a long list of solid investments to make sure this is kept a road-ready classic. So if you want the feeling of rolling nostalgia, you need to check out this sedan. The slant windshield sedan is a 1931-only body style that can be easily identified by its namesake inclined front glass. That gets people thinking about a true classic. And if you like a real vintage machine, then this one has even more to offer. The Washington Blue with black fenders is a classic color theme with a glossy appearance. It was redone 30+ years ago so that casual observers may assume the matured style is just an exceptional survivor. There\'s a nice level of coordination with the black vinyl top going well with the black lower paint. And we especially like how the gray pinstripe matches the wire wheels. It\'s an impressive overall style, and that\'s because this comes from an enthusiast who really loves these slant windshield sedans. This was what he considered his backup/cruiser, and so you\'ll see the right driver-ready attitude throughout. There\'s always something extra jaunty about the look of suicide doors on a sedan. They are a gateway to a spacious back seat, and so it feels like a car you can share with family and friends. And with the full cloth interior having a very vintage style -- but a far fresher restored feel -- there are plenty of people who will happily go for a ride. The classic four-spoke steering wheel and three-speed floor shifter will give you that vintage tingle every time you feel their grip, and the pop-out front windshield knows how to get the old-school breeze flowing. It\'s a fully authentic experience where the only addition you may notice is the water temperature gauge cleanly installed on the steering column. It\'s a true sign they want you to be able to enjoy the drive. The engine bay is one of the most interesting you\'ll ever find for a Model A. There\'s a nice authentic style to the clean green block, plug leads, and the fuel shut-off valve that was exclusive to 1931. You\'ll even see a cool brass plaque identifying a rebuild in 1935. But this is a road-ready classic, and so there\'s a bit more going on here than the first impression. For example, the latest rebuild was really closer to about 1500 miles ago. It\'s said to include an oversize bore and new components like the pistons, rings, bearings, camshaft, timing gear, and valves. There\'s also a new radiator, distributor, pulley, fan, hoses, harness, and an upgrade to a 6-volt alternator. You can call for a full breakdown of the full investments, but the way this one runs strong really reaffirms the quality. And everything from a rebuilt transmission to new brake drums makes this a true vintage sedan that truly loves to cruise. This is the rare and desirable slant windshield Town Sedan that was made to be shown off in more places. So if you want to drive a legend, call today!
