Only available for a few short years, this was a halo car for Saturn, but the brand didn\'t survive. Saturn was the company that dared to be different. They may have had General Motors in their blood, but their products were more like Toyota rivals. So it\'s no surprise they would get a sharply-style drop-top in the same era as the MR2 Spyder. And the Sky really got the full sports car design right. The attraction is in the swept-back headlights, flared fenders, and Corvette-like heat extractors running through the door line. And the rear deck looks like a racecar with dual buttresses that meet the headrests. All of this is straight from the factory... even the glossy black paint appears to be the original application. And since this car has only averaged about 915 miles annually, the finish shows more issues from washing and drying than it does from ever hitting the road. Plus, we love the full dark style that comes from the well-fitting folding roof and graphite-style 18-inch alloys. As good as this looks with the top up, the premium interior with optional red leather inserts has the kind of cool style that will always have you keeping the top down. Low mileage also means it all remains clean and quite attractive. The supportive bucket seats highlight a cockpit that\'s built around the driver. The three-spoke sports steering wheel has all the modern controls you could want. It\'s on a tilt column to give you a clear view of the handsome set of analog gauges with large speedo and tach. This is loaded with all the right features, including power windows, power locks, keyless entry/alarm, dual airbags, cruise control, a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo with auxiliary input, and cold-blowing air conditioning. Under the hood is the correct 2.4-liter fuel-injected motor. Low mileage and proper maintenance mean this looks like new. This peppy and powerful DOHC motor was GM\'s version of a sports car for the modern era. In this lightweight setup, the Sky delivers the kind of performance you\'d expect in a Japanese or European import -- but wrapped in American styling. This sporty spirit is felt every time you hit the open road. The five-speed manual transmission provides complete control, and the fully independent suspension loves every corner. Add in great anytime features such as power steering and four-wheel power disc brakes, and this is an unbeatable driving package.
