Ny - DepewInterior Color: Gray & Black Exterior Color: Red Description: If you\'re looking to rekindle that Oh! What a Feeling, check out this 1985 Toyota Celica GT-S convertible. This striking Celica GT-S was purchased from the daughter of the original owner where it had always been garaged. Made in February 1985 at Toyota\'s Tahara factory and shipped over to the United States in March 1985. This example was delivered first to Portland, Oregon then on to Barry Erickson Toyota in Hutchinson, Kansas. The most recent owner bought the car from the original owner\'s daughter, who inherited it from him after he died. This car was always garaged. Finished in Super Red (code 3E5), the car\'s paint and trim are in overall very good order. The original owner wrote the the car was always garaged and hand-washed with the top down. The bodywork is straight and solid, the black bumpers fit tightly to the body. The engine bay is tidy and the black cloth top has never had soap on it. This Toyota rolls on newer BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, size 225/60R14 at all four corners. Each one is mounted on a four-spoke alloy wheel. The wheels are in good, original order while the tires are in excellent shape. Under the hood is a rebuilt 2.4L SOHC, 16-valve four-cylinder engine (code 22R-E) with electronic fuel injection and four-speed automatic transmission (code A40D) with overdrive and a T372 rear end. Driver convenience features include air-conditioning, cruise control, power rack-and-pinion steering, power four-wheel brakes, power windows, power locks, tilt steering column, rear window defroster and power antenna. Inside, there are black cloth seats with a contrasting gray carpet, which all look great. A two-spoke steering wheel looks great. The inner door panels and instrument panel are in great shape. The center console and console-mounted shifter look great. A factory AM/FM stereo with a cassette deck rounds out the interior but the cassette deck is inoperable. Seat bolster repair was done in vinyl for better wear. The GT-S convertible, built by American Sunroof Company (ASC) in California, was originally released in a limited 200-unit run in 1984 with 4,248 more were built for 1985. Documentation includes an extensive maintenance history since the car was new, the original owner\'s manual, original window sticker, spare keys and other documents. Toyota\'s Celica really hit its stride by 1985 and made serious inroads into the competition\'s sales totals. Adding into it that convertibles were popular again by mid-decade, this Celica GT-S strikes the right chord. Do yourself a favor and come by MotoeXotica Classic Cars to see it for yourself. Competition to this Toyota in 1985 included Chevrolet\'s Cavalier Convertible, Chrysler\'s LeBaron Convertible, Dodge\'s 600 Convertible, Ford\'s Mustang Convertible, Mercury\'s Capri Convertible and Pontiac\'s Sunbird Convertible. VIN: JT5RA65K5F4056529 EIN: 22R-1353611 This car is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 89,948 miles. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! Note: Please see full terms and conditions listed below that pertain to the purchase of any said vehicle, thank you.

Norfolk - ConnecticutThis low-mile 1987 Toyota Supra is equipped with the desirable five-speed manual transmission and is a "slicktop," with no sunroof. The selling dealer, who has sold numerous rare and special-interest cars through Hemmings Auctions, says, "This car looks, runs, and drives as new. It has been exceptionally cared for its entire life, has always been garaged, and is in time-capsule #2 condition throughout. Everything works, including the electronically adjustable suspension." The seller notes some services below and indicates a recent A/C service.Electronic suspension damping was just one of numerous standout features that made the third-generation Supra, introduced in 1986, such a desirable car. This model, with internal code A70, severed any connection to the lower-priced Celica that the first two generations of Supra had shared. The A70 Supra was an all-new sports/GT with its own body, a new inline-six engine, and luxurious interior. The new model mainly competed with the Nissan 300ZX and Mazda RX-7 but also drew customers looking for more refinement than found in domestic sport coupes. Toyota would go on to sell about 109,000 A70 Supras in the U.S. through 1992.
